With an extensive competition background and a wealth of experience in helping people of all ages and all levels of fitness achieve their own personal bests, Mike Searle brings his knowledge, experience and unique motivational skills to your Corporate Day or Presentation.
Much in demand as a motivational speaker and in the media, Mike's credits include filming extensively with Gary Barlow for the documentary 'Take That for the Record', his own weekly newspaper column 'Your Personal Trainer' and he contributes to many other media publications. He is also the author of 'How to get fitter . . . faster'
In his chosen sport of endurance running, Mike is not a world class performer. Following a series of physiological tests, it was identified that a congenital breathing problem effectively limits his lung capacity to 50% but rather than let this problem constrain his achievements, Mike has sought to maximise every factor that could improve and positively influence his performance, resulting in the following significant successes:
- 3 times Ultra-Marathon champion - 1999, 2000, 2002 (runner up 1997, 2003, 2005)
- Sub 3 hour marathon runner (2 hours 57 minutes)
Having overcome his own physical limitations to achieve personalBEST performances, Mike can demonstrate and help your delegates unlock their own potential and achieve their own personalBEST.
